By teaching circular approaches, learners develop important skills for resource-conserving construction. The courses are available digitally and can also be used without the direct supervision of a teacher.

The second course will analyze current approaches in the construction industry. It will discuss how the concept of circular construction compares to the traditional linear construction industry. Using specific practical examples, participants will gain an insight into the basic principles of the circular economy within the construction industry.
The course comprises 3 lessons.
Participants will receive an introduction to a calculation tool that will enable them to carry out ecological calculations such as life cycle assessment, circularity index and reuse on a single-family house in future courses.
The course comprises 2 lessons.
This course develops an understanding of existing buildings and infrastructures as resource depots. It will be shown how resources and CO2 can be saved by rethinking. Participants will also have the opportunity to make changes and comparisons on a digital 3D building.
The course comprises 4 lessons.
Our actions today have an impact on future generations. Learners are taught the basic principles of more circular construction. They will discuss which building materials are suitable, how they should be connected and the role of digitalization.
The course comprises 4 lessons.
The learners are guided through a circular timber construction project that has already been implemented. The focus is on the various construction phases and how decisions were made in relation to the different approaches. They also carry out calculations to check the sustainability of the circular timber building in comparison to a reinforced concrete building.
