Making collaboration fun! On December 21, 2023, the Future Perfect team had the pleasure of leading a workshop for the Allgemeine Berufsschule Zürich (ABZ). Our visit to Zurich was characterized by the idea of presenting and discussing future-oriented educational concepts. In this blog post, we provide insights into the event, the content of the workshop and the lively participation of the ABU teachers.
The workshop was part of an internal teacher training course and aimed to familiarize participants with Future Perfect's innovative approaches.
The ABZ teachers had the opportunity to experience our courses and learning methods at first hand. The event was a wonderful opportunity to present our educational offerings and discuss the teaching methods in practice at the same time. The event began with an introduction to the Future Perfect courses and an in-depth discussion of the didactic structure. This was followed by a lot of trial and error, questions were asked and technical challenges with the platform were solved.
One highlight was the undercover game, an interactive agent game that can be played with the whole class. Everyone involved was very committed. At the end, there was a discussion about the project work and the transfer between school and the world of work.
The workshop was a complete success for us. It was encouraging to see how the ABU teachers at ABZ will now integrate all Future Perfect courses and the Undercover game into their lessons. Above all, however, the professional discussions and positive feedback on our didactic structure were very pleasing.
This experience shows how important and fruitful it is to engage with new teaching methods and this workshop provided guidance, help, explanations, discussions, running, laughing and frowning - this is what makes collaboration fun.
We hope that you will also be inspired to incorporate these innovative approaches into your teaching activities.
