Circular economy up close: Circular Quest - playful, interactive and inspiring
How can we not only understand sustainable principles, but also integrate them into our everyday lives or work contexts? The Circular Quest in Olten makes this possible! This unique team event format combines an interactive scavenger hunt with a hands-on workshop to bring the circular economy to life.
An inspiring team event - a review with Girsberger AG
On November 20, 2024, eleven employees and apprentices of Girsberger AG had the opportunity to experience the Circular Quest. After a warm welcome at Olten train station, the group set off on a two-hour scavenger hunt.
"I particularly liked the fact that we were able to get to know the city of Olten through the scavenger hunt and that the posts were linked to special features of the city. The walk with the group also gave us space to talk to each other."
In small groups, the participants explored various stations that showcased local best practice examples and innovative solutions in the field of the circular economy. From recycling initiatives to sustainable product designs - each station offered exciting insights and food for thought.
From experience to design: The Circular Quest Workshop
After the scavenger hunt, the workshop continued creatively and interactively. Here, the groups dealt intensively with the question of how sustainable approaches can be integrated into their own company.
"I remember the well-guided workshop as a special insight. The short and clear task definition under the moderation of Mark Montalbo resulted in a lot of creative feedback and gave us all an understanding of the topic of the circular economy in relation to our company."
The participants developed concrete ideas, presented their favorites and analyzed their potential and possible challenges.
This interactive part of the event showed the participants how specific sustainable measures can be taken and motivated them to take what they had learned back into their everyday work.
Why Circular Quest?
Circular Quest is more than just an event - it offers the opportunity to discover the potential of the circular economy in a playful and practical way. The focus is on:
Learning together: Teams learn how circular strategies work and what advantages they offer.
Creative solutions: The workshop generates ideas and approaches that can be integrated directly into operations.
Sustainable inspiration: Participants develop an awareness of their impact on resources and the environment.
"I would definitely recommend the Circular Quest and the subsequent workshop as a team event for learners. The duration of one afternoon combined with the city tour is ideal and the puzzles with the Actionbound app were fun."
